I will be watching the clock at midnight tomorrow night, can’t wait to read your book and memories of growing up! I too have some wonderful memories of living in an old farmhouse in Macy.
Although I grew up as a “city gal,” both of my parents grew up in the rural south on farms. I’ve heard many stories from them and now that they are in their mid-90’s with commensurate cognitive limitations, I hunger for more stories to better understand the experiences that formulated their personalities, life goals and basically who they were and are. I imagine I’ll get some of what I seek in your book. And, frankly, also just look forward to reading your insights!
